Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Service overview

Readers Cut provides access to digital books and chapters, reading progress tracking, and related community features. Features may change over time.

User content

You may submit content such as comments, reviews, and profile information (your User Content). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Readers Cut a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or scrape the Service except where permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including the software, design, logos, and branding, is owned by Readers Cut and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Content made available through the Service may be owned by authors, publishers, or other rights holders.

Purchases and subscriptions

If the Service offers paid features, you agree to pay the listed prices and applicable taxes. Payments may be processed by a third party provider. Refund eligibility, if any, will be described at purchase time or required by law.

Notifications and messages

You may receive service related messages, including security alerts and important account notices. If you enable push notifications, you can disable them through your device or browser settings.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the Service unlawfully. We may also discontinue the Service, in whole or in part.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Readers Cut and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars if you paid nothing.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Readers Cut and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle information.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
